My life has been lived in a kind of wanderlust that is both grounded and exploratory. As a child, I learned the grace of moving through time and space with the anchors of my world being internal. The many textures of nature and wildlife intrigue and inspire me, leading me to make the most of my natural preference toward fine detail, artistry, and classical technique. My work at first may seem merely representational, but looking more closely, there is also a subtle element of fantasy, perhaps a story being told. An essential part of art for me is the element of teaching, and through my artwork I am sharing what I have learned.
